I reported last fall about a local theatre restoration project that we’d connected with through our work at The Center at Donaldson (“Poor Handmaids”). We’ll the community is making good on its vision to include solar from the get go. There were giant holes in the roof when we were on top of it last September and now they’re installing solar panels! Being a lifelong Tar Heel, I never thought I’d be sitting here loving the Hoosiers, but I’m loving those Northern Indiana folks who are showing us the solar way! Great job their community partnerships are doing. Also never thought I’d be patting a utility on the back but Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPCSO) has helped solar along with its net energy metering policy. This is not an experience we Tar Heels are all that familiar with, sadly.
